i'm new

What should I wear?

Clothes. That’s our only request. We are much more concerned about what’s going on inside of a person, than what they are wearing on the outside.

What's the music like?

We don’t own a pipe organ. The music is contemporary and upbeat. We try to sing songs that are deep in meaning and easy to understand to focus our worship on God.

Do my kids sit with me?

At SLCC, we offer children's ministry from birth to 6th grade during the Sunday morning service. The age-appropriate classes and teachers will help your children learn about God in a relevant way, as well as offer fun experiences that will help the teaching come alive in their hearts.

Will I be asked to give money?

Come and experience God. If you feel led to give, then go ahead. We believe the Bible teaches that giving financially to God through your local church is an act of worship. Enjoy giving!

Will I be bored?

We sure hope not. A life following Christ should be fulfilling and rewarding. We strategically plan our service to engage your heart, mind and soul. We use music, video, powerful teaching and other experiential elements to help you connect to God in a meaningful way.

What is the overall environment like?

Like family. We want you to feel welcome as you put yourself in prepare to connect with God. We are a casually dressed and very friendly group. We want to be genuine people.

We understand there can be uncertainty with visiting a new church , thats why we try very hard to help you feel at home while you are here.
